Overview

Congratulations on your growth! We're excited to be growing with you, so let's talk abut how you can upgrade your plan and make sure you're only paying for the units you use.

Note: Any unit you add to DoorLoop will be counted as an active unit, even if it is not currently being rented and is vacant. This counts toward your subscription active units and will affect your pricing.

The Steps

If you exceed the number of units in your subscription, we will notify you inside DoorLoop. You will have three courses of action you can take:

  1. Don't do anything - If you do nothing, we will automatically update your unit count and bill for the new active number of units on Fridays.

  2. Edit your unit count - You can edit your plan and update the number of units. Learn how update your unit count here: Update Your Subscription Plan Unit Count.

  3. Make some units inactive - If you don't want to be upgraded to the next tier, you can make some of your units inactive that you aren't using. Learn how to make your units inactive here: Make a Unit Inactive.

Note: If you do make units inactive on your account, be sure to adjust the number of active units you have under Settings > Subscription and Billing.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact us using the chat bubble in the lower right corner of DoorLoop!
